ST PAUL MANILA 2017 HOMECOMING

On Sunday, January 29, SPMA USA Officers Chair Marilyn Abalos, CoChair Patsy Santiago Schultz and Secretary Sylvia Lavadia Javier traveled from New York and joined over 400 Paulinians and guests at the St. Paul Manila Homecoming.   Celebrating HS Class 67’s 50th Anniversary, from New York Lily Gamboa O’Boyle attended her Golden Jubilee with classmates.

“Our 50th High School reunion was certainly true to its theme of ‘Home’. As soon as I stepped inside its familiar surroundings, I was indeed home,” said Lily O’Boyle.  “Seeing my old classmates and teachers, the quadrangle where I stood and recited the pledge of allegiance every morning, and the chapel where we attended Mass religiously brought a flood of happy memories. I was grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with childhood friends and to revisit the institution largely responsible for the woman I am today. Thank you St Paul!"

The activities began with a Mass in the Chapel of the Crucified Christ celebrated by Fr. Rolando Agustin, with HS 62 Emerald Jubilarians arranging.  After the Mass, various Jubilarian classes had their photos taken on the Chapel steps.
