Paulinians Shine Like Gold
Paulinians shine at the Philippine Gold Exhibition at Asia Society in NY. Paulinian Nina Capistrano-Baker is the Co-Curator of the Philippine Gold Exhibition not only at Asia Society in New York, but she wa also the Curator of the Philippine Ancestral Gold Exhibition in the Ayala Museum in Manila. Nina is also the co-author of Philippine Ancestral Gold. 120 pieces of the 1000 piece collection of pre-Hispanic gold is on loan to the Asia Society in the US. The exhibition in New York runs thru Jan. 3, 2016. The exhibition at the Ayala Museum is ongoing.
Marilyn Abalos serves on the Philippine Gold Benefit Committee with Co-Chairs Loida Nicolas Lewis (US), Doris Magsaysay Ho and Fernando Zobel de Ayala (Manila). She manages with Asia Society press relations and community outreach. Paulinians have joined the Filipino Community, including the Philippine University and College Alumni Associations, and supported the Philippine Gold Exhibition.
