St. Paul Homecoming 2016
The Annual Alumni Homecoming was held on January 31, 2016. Around three hundred Paulinians from varied batches, as far back as 1947, came home and enjoyed an afternoon and evening of fellowship and fun. “Festivale” was 2016 Homecoming theme. Jubilarian classes were High School 1966 and Nursing 1966-Golden Jubilarians, High School 1956-Diamond Jubilarians, High School 1976-Ruby Jubilarians, and High School 1971-Sapphire Jubilarians. Tess Cuevas Mallari and Beibi Garcia Bautista congratulated Celeste Legaspi, Golden Jubilarian. St. Paul Nuns enjoyed the evening dinner. Mass in the Fleur-de-Lis Auditorium commemorated the weekend. A great time was had by all!
Winnie Abaya Morgan and Yolanda Galang Quizon traced their steps at St. Paul College in Manila earlier this year. They said a prayer in the Chapel, enjoyed its serenity and reminiscence days of youth. Accompanied by Beibi Garcia Bautista and Corito Abaya Sevilla, they visit family, former teachers and life-long friends including Sister Anunciata Abaya Sta. Ana and Mrs. Monette Ocampo Martinez while marveling how much the campus has transformed from the steps of the front gate to the steps of the Chapel. “Sharing the feel inside the chapel of our Alma Mater,” said Winnie.
Winnie & Yoly Traces Paulinian Steps
During Three Kings, three young princesses MacKenzie Pardo Colquhoun, Eleanor and Vivienne Schultz helped inspire support for our Fleur-de-Lis Fund. They loved their Pauline Dolls which their respective grandmothers Jing P. Doran and Patsy Santiago Schultz had Santa bring over to them on Christmas Day! Because of the perfect joy in their eyes and happy smiles, other young girls and young at heart Paulinians were able to enjoy Pauline - bearing gifts of education, music therapy and civic engagement for students and community through SPMA USA Fleur-de-Lis Fund. Kenzie, Ellie and Vivi are our wonderful stars bringing Pauline’s blessings and light to students, children and families and St. Paul!
